This magnificent photograph was taken during a flight of five Royal Air Force Machines ever hitherto inaccessible country in the snow clad Himalayas. The picture is not only a fresh illustration of the supreme reliability of British aircraft, but is also interesting as depicting the awe-inspiring country which the Marquess of Clydesdal will encounter during his proposed flight over Mount Everest (29,000ft.) next year. Their historic flight they passed over Mount Rakasposhi, which is 25,550 feet high.
