  • Josef Stalin und Lenin in Gorki im September 1922 Josef Wissarionowitsch Stalin (18. 12. 1878, Gori, Georgien - 5. 03. 1953, Kunzewo bei Moskau) war ein sowjetischer Politiker mit georgischer Abstammung. Es gelang ihm nach Lenins Tod die Macht in der Sowjetunion an sich zu reißen Er regierte die Sowjetunion diktatorisch von 1927 bis zu seinem Tod 1953. Während des Angriffes des faschistischen Deutschlands auf die Sowjetunion im Jahre 1941 war Stalin auch Oberbefehlshaber der Roten Armee. Er übte das Amt bis 1947 aus. Schon vor der Oktoberrevolution agierte Josef Stalin im Untergrund und als Revolutionär.
