Born in Gando, a small town in Burkina Faso, he could get a scholarship to study architecture in Germany and created the Kere Foundation to fund the construction of a primary school in his native town. Since then, Kere has continued refunding knowledge in Burkina Faso and other places in four different continents, creating innovative strategies that combine traditional building materials and methods with others engineering modern techniques.
