Medvedev headed to the northern corner of the Far East to attend a regional development conference with a stop to the Kanchalan village where he was warmly welcomed by local villagers and reindeer herders. At the conference he said the government s main aim is to provide local residents with normal conditions for subsistence and that ministers and department heads should spend more time in the Far East region to work on development - ZUMAx01_
