Croatia, Zagreb, 280925. City center. Today in Zagreb, the Great Global Greyhound walk was marked, an international initiative that takes place once a year in the organization of different adoption associations all over the world, drawing attention to the abuse of greyhounds. Greyhounds are dogs that are often found on the street or are killed after the hunting season is over or when they are no longer fit for dog racing. In the organization of the Pomozimo hrtovima Hrvatska association, owners of adopted greyhounds from Zagreb walked around the city center today, raising awareness of the issue of these dogs and offering information about adoption to interested passers-by.
