Revelers brave the rain on Deansgate during the pride parade. Revelers refused to let a heavy downpour dampen their spirits as the annual parade makes its way through the city centre. Despite the torrential rain, the LGBTQ+ community and supporters partied anyway, filling the streets with vibrant colour, music, and joy. The festival has been officially renamed Manchester Village Pride this year, marking a new community-led chapter after the voluntary liquidation and financial collapse of the former organizing company last autumn. Taking part in the celebrations, the newly elected Mayor of Greater Manchester, Bev Craig, actively engaged with parade participants and cheering crowds along the route - ZUMAs197 20260829_aaa_s197_363
